This impressive 140-year-old French antique chandelier is the oldest one in our vintage collection. Céleste features 12 beautiful realistic branches made of solid brass, and is decorated with charming star shaped glass ornaments. Céleste, meaning ‘heavenly’, is a precious antique chandelier that was originally created for candles. Although electric light was invented in 1879, it wasn’t widely used in French homes until the 20th century. Céleste was there to bring an enchanting warm candle light to her 19th century French château. Today, she has been safely rewired and restored to fit modern dimmable LED bulbs, bringing a touch of drama and luxury into your home.
